Meditation
Meditation is an ancient technique used to settle the fluctuations of the mind, to create more calm, reduce stress, but also to help us focus and get to know ourselves better. We will find a technique that works best for you - whether you are a beginner or you have had some previous experience. As part of the meditation toolkit I also offer Yoga Nidra - a guided relaxation that can be practiced lying down or seated - depending on what is most comfortable for you - this is the practice that led me into meditation and 10 years later I am still practicing with regularity!
Embodied Movement
In this practice we explore ways of moving that are intuitive and natural to you and your body - no one else's. I will support you in getting to know your body better - how it moves, how it feels and how it makes you feel. You will no longer be a stranger in your skin, but feel at one with your incredible body. This practice will lead to living a more embodied and empowered life.
Breathwork
Breathwork is a powerful practice where we use tools from Pranayama practices in Yoga and more contemporary Breathwork techniques to change our mental, physical & emotional state. Depending on what is required - we use certain techniques to activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System to induce calm and reduce anxiety or we activate the Sympathetic Nervous System to feel more energised, alert and to shift negative patterns or thinking and behaviours.
